Calling all Quilts! peace & Appliqué's annual quilt show is happening Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11, from 10 to 4 each day. We have issued a "Call for Quilts" and want to proudly display your treasures in the show! We are looking forward to receiving at least 100. One of the quilts on display this year is a quilt made of blocks that were appliquéd in the early 1800's and assembled by machine in the late 1800's. Another quilt is paper-pieced on a foundation of newspaper dated 1930! Old or new, we want your quilts too. Please call the shop to get the details at (217) 498-6771. Your addition will make this year's show spectacular!

One
bit of fun we love at our shop is our Quilt Club. It meets the 4th
Thursday of every month at 1:00. It is free club where you get the chance
to talk and enjoy with other quilters, show and tell your latest creation, and
see what everyone else is doing. We also give you a free pattern at every
meeting. Here are some pictures of the fun...please come and join us!

We have so many new project and events...check them out now on the Class Schedule page. New additions are happening all of the time, so check back! peace & Appliqué offers fun classes for every skill level. Learn something new, share your experience, and have a great time. There are even some Blocks of the Months and Clubs that you can do via the mail, so join us today!

Come and visit our shop in a historic building in downtown Rochester, IL. Our unique and cozy shop has 12 foot exposed brick walls that offer fantastic spaces to display our latest works and class offerings. We are located immediately off of Route 29 in Rochester.

From Springfield: Take South Grand Avenue east. It becomes Route 29.
Travel four miles southeast to Rochester. Turn left at the Silo just after the
second stoplight and go one block north. We are on the Northwest corner.
From North or South I-55: Take I-55 to Exit 96A (Taylorville) by
Springfield. Travel four miles southeast to Rochester. Turn left at the Silo
