We have new fabric!

Here's a great collection of fabrics from Wilmington Prints, now in the shop.

Jennifer Pugh’s chefs are In the Kitchen with a great border print and coordinates for a “well-seasoned” kitchen collection. There were a couple more bolts from the collection that didn't make the photo, including a stripe as well as a panel to make an apron, placemat panels and hot pads. So there are LOTS of sewing possibilities here.

And yes, there are some free projects. Here's the link -

New class coming

Here is the beautiful new sample for a new class we have coming up this month. This poinsettia block by Kay is pretty spectacular.

Kay will be doing an FYI class at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, with the sewing class the following Wednesday from 1-4 p.m.. This is a 20 by 20 inch block, so you could make one for a table topper or two or three for table runner or wall hanging.

This class uses the quick curved ruler by Sew Kind of Wonderful. Sign up for the class even if you haven't used the ruler yet. Kay gives very good instructions.

The class fee is $15 and the pattern is a free download. Come to the FYI to get all the information you need. And please call the shop to reserve a spot!
