WHAT AN AMAZING DAY! TWO HUNDRED HEART SHAPED PILLOWS were made Monday, February 18, 2008, for the American Cancer Society by 20 wonderful sewers. What a wonderful time we had! It was great fun to sit and work on these pillows which will be distributed to oncologists, hospitals, chemotherapy units throughout central Illinois. And there are more coming, from those who have taken patterns and are making the pillows at home. Lots of love is being sent out by way of these pillows to those women going through breast cancer. Thanks to all who have participated in this endeavor.

We Still Need Your Help! Many, many blocks
have been received for the challenge for the quilts for the Simmons-Cooper
Cancer Research Institute. We'll be setting up some times to put these together,
and will be asking for help from guilds and machine quilters in this project.
