peace & Appliqué offers so many classes and clubs that we are sure there is one just right for you! Our schedule is below, but classes are being added all the time. Class Policies: Registration is required at least one week before the class begins. Payment is needed to confirm registration for classes and hold your place. Payment can be made by cash, check or charge, and can be either mailed in, done in person at the shop, or phoned in to the shop.
A class will be held if there are at least three registered. If we cancel a class due to low enrollment, illness, or other cause, a refund will be made. If the student does not come to class, the class fee is forfeited. All classes require a basic sewing kit, including machine (except hand-work classes), thread, needles, marking pen, scissors, ripper, mat, rulers, and rotary cutter. Any additional supplies will be listed.

All are welcome, even if you don't have a Bernina! Stella and Sue always have a new project to share and another way to use that machine! |

FREE | The Bernina Mastery Classes have been revamped to that you get the most from your Bernina machine, no matter which model you have. You can take your Mastery classes on the second Friday from 1-4, or the third Thursday, 6 – 9. Sue will be teaching the basic operations class which will cover needles, thread, presser feet, plus a variety of stitches that everyone will use: securing, zigzag, blind hem, triple straight, vari-overlock and stretch. We’ll also learn buttonholes, sew on a button, and put in a zipper. This class is appropriate for all Bernina machines. Call the shop to sign up for this class which is free, if you’ve purchased your machine at P & A, or $50 if purchased elsewhere. Details on Class 2 will be available when you’ve finished Class 1. |

| Dawn's Sit & Stitch | 2nd Thurs | Continues | 10:00 - 12:00 | $30/year | Come join Dawn as she brings us back to hand embroidery. She’ll be demonstrating various stitches and will have small projects for you also. Class fee $30/year. |

In this two session class, Stella will show you how to use the diamond ruler and make that spectacular Double Diamond purse. | Fifth Saturday Challenge | Sat | Continues | 10:00 am | Material cost | Come join us for this challenge group that meets on the fifth Saturday of the month – that only happens four times a year! The challenge is to buy a bag, sight unseen, with fabric in it, and, following the rules of the challenge, come back with a completed ‘something’. It could be a quilt, a table runner, a jacket, a book cover – you just need to use the fabric in the brown paper bag. It’s great fun. Come join Dawn at 10 on January 7 (moved from the last Saturday in December) or March 31 for this great challenge, and to see what she’s cooked up for us next! |

$30/ year | The machine embroidery club meets the first Thursday of each month, with two identical sessions, one at 1:00 and one at 6:00pm. Come join this group as they learn tips and tricks of machine embroidery. Join us anytime! |
| Miss Sadie's Finishing Club | 3rd Thurs | Continues | 10:00-3:00 | Free | Third Thursday from 10-3. In order to belong to this group, you must have six unfinished projects at home, and you can only bring projects to work on that you are now working on – nothing new can be started! Bring your own lunch, and most times we provide a dessert. |

Between 8:30 and 9:45 am | Material cost | Saturday Sampler, the first Saturday in each month started in October, but it’s not too late to join.. The rules are: the first month you buy the book and your first block for $5. If you come to the next first Saturday session with your completed block at the proper time (between 8:30 and 9:45 AM), then you get your next kit free You have to come to the session with your completed block. Otherwise, you can get your next block for $5. You’ll buy the materials to finish the quilt, including the alternate blocks. |
