Join us for two days of sneaker making! Friday 10-2pm and Saturday 10-2pm as we work through the basics and get as much done as possible! The OPTIONAL first day FRIDAY includes fabric selection, quilting two of the fat quarters for the inside and outside of the shoe, and quilting one fat quarter folded in half for the tongues of the shoes. If you can’t make the Friday class, get that done in advance and join us for the assembly on Saturday. Then SATURDAY we will cut out the shoes, bind the quilted pieces, add rivets and sew the sides and tongues to the soles. We may even get a chance to do some customer shoe strings to give even more flair to these pieces of art.
