Heirloom® premium 80/20 cotton blend is one of our most popular battings because it offers more loft and less weight than traditional cotton battings. Our 80/20 is made with 80% natural cotton & 20% fine polyester. It is needle punched and spray bonded to provide exceptional strength and durability. Shrinkage of 3-5% and may be quilted up to 4” apart.

Heirloom® Bleached is recommend for light colored quilts. Our Bleached 80/20 is made the same way as our Premium 80/20, except we use bleached cotton to provide quilters a white batting that will not show through a lighter quilt top. Shrinkage of 3-5% and may be quilted up to 4” apart.

Heirloom® Black is recommend for dark colored quilts. Our Black 80/20 is made the same way as our Premium 80/20, except we use black dyed cotton to provide quilters a dark batting that will not show through a dark quilt tops. Shrinkage of 3-5% and may be quilted up to 4” apart.

Heirloom® Fusible is an iron on batting which is fusible on both sides. Our Fusible 80/20 is made the same way as our Premium 80/20, except we use a fusible resin in the spray bonding process. This resin eliminates the need for pinning or basting, saving quilters’ time and effort. Simply press your quilt from the center to the outer edges. Make sure you keep your iron moving, pressing approximately 3-4 seconds in each area. Once you have covered the entire surface area of your quilt, allow the quilt to cool. You may then begin quilting by hand or machine. Shrinkage of 3-5% and may be quilted up to 4” apart.

Heirloom® Natural with Scrim is designed for quilters looking for more strength in their cotton batting.
Heirloom Natural with Scrim is made with Natural cotton but has a thin scrim (stabilizer) needle punched into the cotton.
This scrim provides superior strength over cotton alone, and prevents the batting from stretching and distorting.
Shrinkage of 3-5% and may be quilted up to 8” apart.

Heirloom® Natural is designed for quilters that want a soft drapeable batting with a traditional look. Heirloom Natural is made with 100% Natural cotton and is needle punched for additional strength. Shrinkage of 3-5% and may be quilted up to 4” apart.

Heirloom® Bleached Cotton is 100% Bleached Cotton and recommend for light colored quilts. Our Heirloom® Bleached is made the same way as our Heirloom® Natural, except we use bleached cotton to provide quilters a white batting that will not show through a lighter quilt top. Shrinkage of 3-5% and may be quilted up to 4” apart
