PJ's in the Hoop: Christmas Triptych x2
And what, you may ask, is a Triptych? Well, it's a historical art style where an image is presented in a 3-part panoramic format. If it worked back then, how about now (o; Introducing...Christmas Triptych x 2! (Artwork by diddybag.com) This design pack, completed totally in the 6x10 hoop, consists of 2 triptychs (12 design files in all), one a cozy fireside scene and the other a whimsical gingerbread scene. The project pieces feature front and back fabrics, dense fleece batting, and firm fusible interfacing; the final project size of each is 14x13. Each is bordered with a stylish frame and the scenes are completed with a heavy outline stitch. The 3 sections are then attached with hinges (or hung as 3 separate pieces) to complete the project...or not. As shown in the gingerbread version, the project lends itself to the so very popular coloring book trend--I used blendable watercolor pencils and glue-on glitter to accent the snow on the sample. Warning: the coloring-book option is ADDICTIVE!!! So get on the age-old triptych bandwagon!
